Spring is coming full bloom, trips are being planned, shopping is happening, and all the things that come with warm weather.
I thought I would put together a little makeup bag for a weekend trip. These are trips where you don't need that much but you may still be going out and want to dress up a little.
The first thing you have to do is think about what you may be using makeup for. Do you use it everyday? Are you going on a date night? Do you only use certain pieces? Do you use a full face?
Next thing you have to do is figure out what products you trust (you don't want to take any chances of a bad product reaction). When you choose products for a trip, you want to choose ones that you know perform well, mesh well with your skin, and you love the look of.
I recently went on a weekend trip to visit my boyfriend's family and these were to the products I packed. I was planning to use a couple of products everyday and had a date night planned for one of the nights.
I brought a face primer, eye primer, and setting spray to make sure all the makeup stayed in place. For the complexion, I brought undereye concealer, face concealer, liquid foundation, powder foundation, and setting powder. I brought two foundations for different uses. The liquid foundation I like for a night out but for most days I just use powder foundation. I decided to bring an all in one palette. This includes eyes and cheeks. The bronzer in the palette however does not match me so I brought a different one. I did bring a top lash mascara (I would recommend this one that I brought instead) and a bottom lash mascara. For the brows I don't do too much so I just brought tinted brow gel. For the lips I mainly wore chapstick but for our date night i brought lipliner (shade: never petal down) and lipstick (shade: matte darling).
I hope this gave you some ideas on how to narrow down the products that you bring with you. You want to bring products that you love but you also want to bring a small amount so finding duo products that you love is essential.

What are some products you love to bring on vacations?
I love to take everything - depending on how long I'm going, I will take one or two palettes to choose from. I always always take my NYX matte setting spray everywhere!!

I've never tried the NYX matte setting spray. I hear it's good! I may have to pick it up sometime.
